Man The Dwelling Place Of God
Author: A. W. Tozer

From man's standpoint the most tragic loss suffered in the Fall was the vacating of this inner sanctum by the Spirit of God. At the far-in hidden center of man's being is a bush fitted to be the dwelling place of the Triune God. There God planned to rest and glow with moral and spiritual fire. Man by his sin forfeited this indescribably wonderful privilege and must now dwell there alone. For so intimately private is the place that no creature can intrude; no one can enter but Christ; and He will enter only by the invitation of faith.

The Root of the Righteous

From the author of The Pursuit of God comes this collection of essays that Tozer wrote and hand-picked himself for this thought-provoking classic. Rich Dad Poor Dad
Author: by Robert Kiyosaki

Personal finance author and lecturer Robert Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective through exposure to a pair of disparate influences: his own highly educated, but fiscally unstable father, and the multimillionaire eighth-grade dropout father of his closest friend. The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his "poor dad" (whose weekly paychecks, while respectable, were never quite sufficient to meet family needs) pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his "rich dad" (that "the poor and the middle class work for money," but "the rich have money work for them"). Taking that message to heart, Kiyosaki was able to retire at 47. Rich Dad Poor Dad, written with consultant and CPA Sharon L. Lechter, lays out his the philosophy behind his relationship with money. Although Kiyosaki can take a frustratingly long time to make his points, his book is nonetheless a compelling advocate for the type of "financial literacy" that's never taught in schools. Based on the principle that income-generating assets always provide healthier bottom-line results than even the best of traditional jobs, it explains how the former might be acquired so that the latter eventually can be shed.

Historical Books

George Whitefield
Author: Arnold Dallimore

God's accomplishments through George Whitefield are to this day virtually unparalleled. Even during his lifetime Whitefield was considered "the most brilliant and popular preacher the modern world has ever known." In the wake of his fearless preaching, revival swept across the British Isles, and the Great Awakening transformed the American colonies.

When Whitefield died at age 55, he had preached 30,000 sermons. His hearers included not only the poor and the uneducated, but prominent English aristocrats and American statesmen such as David Hume and Benjamin Franklin.

Christians today continue to take courage from Whitefield's humility and deep spirituality. A founder of Methodism, he yielded his leadership to John Wesley rather than risk splitting the movement, thus revealing his fervent commitment to the gospel of Christ rather than to personal plans or hopes.

The previous two-volume work, receiving critical praise and popular acceptance, is here condensed into one magnificent volume. A great inspiration to the followers of Jesus Christ in today's pressured world.

"Perhaps the single most inspiring biography published in English in the 20th century. A masterful work." --Sherwood Eliot Wirt, founding editor, Decision magazine

"I feel a permanent debt of gratitude to Dr. Dallimore. His wonderful two-volume study of Whitefield is one of the great biographies of the Christian Church. I share his hope that many more Christians will find this shorter version as enjoyable and stimulating!"
--Sinclair B. Ferguson, Westminster Theological Seminary

"This condensation of the author's classic two-volume edition contains 23 fast-moving chapters of highly interesting material. A powerful rendering of a life wholly consecrated to God." --G.A. Adams, Principal, Toronto Baptist Seminary

Charles Spurgeon
Author: Arnold Dallimore

It is no easy task to depict 'so tremendous a personality' as that of Spurgeon in a brief volume, but in 250 pages it is here accomplished, and with a large measure of success. It will meet the need of those completely ignorant of Spurgeon and his vast achievements, but will stir also the interest of all who value a unique ministry, yielding 62 volumes of 'deathless' sermons and many other highly valuable publicatons.

Romans
Author: Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

No New Testament epistle is more foundational to the faith than Romans, and no exposition of Paul's letter is more insightful than that of Lloyd-Jones. Drawn from his messages at Westminster Chapel from 1955 to 1968, this masterful series of sermons blends evangelical interpretation with practical applications to provide sound doctrinal teaching on this fundamental document.

Authentic Christianity
Author: Martyn Lloyd Jones

"There can be no more urgent question at this present time than just this: What is Christianity?"

Some define it as an elevated, optimistic philosophy of life. Many regard it as a set of morals to live by, or a good feeling about yourself, or doing good things. Still others dismiss it as something for the intellectually weak.

Within these pages, however, Martyn Lloyd-Jones challenges you to think through exactly what you believe Christianity to be and the role it has in your life. He believes that today's understanding of Christianity, even as defined by many who consider themselves to be its followers, is in complete contrast to what is taught in the Bible. Christianity is not a list of things for you to do, but rather, your only true hope, for it tells what Jesus came to do for you.

That you may know Jesus as your Savior and know Him more fully is Lloyd-Jones's desire as he shares in these messages from the book of Acts the basic truths of genuine Christianity.

About this Series
The book of Acts is filled with some of the most powerful accounts in the New Testament. The birth of the church. The coming of the Holy Spirit. Bold preaching and dramatic missionary journeys. Saved souls and transformed lives. It not only provides insight into the growing apostolic church, but can encourage and challenge your heart today.

Martyn Lloyd-Jones preached on this dynamic Bible book during the peak of his ministry. Now those expository sermons are gathered together in a multi-volume collection. His language is simple and clear so that the truth of the Scriptures would be available to all who desire to understand. Recognized as one of this century's most gifted preachers, he is known for his astute analysis of man's condition and his persuasive proclamation of the Gospel as the only true solution.
